World AIDS Day is observed annually on December 1st. Established in 1988, it marked the world's first global health day. Each year, United Nations agencies, governments, and civil society collaborate to promote awareness around specific HIV-related themes. It provides a significant opportunity to raise essential awareness of this issue.
In spite of some backdrop of numerous global drug discovery and development initiatives aimed at creating more accessible, safer, and shorter HIV treatments, many compounds in the development pipeline have been found to show good potential for both treatment and prevention.
In support of World AIDS Day 2023, Life Chemicals is offering its exclusive collection of Screening Compound Libraries, which includes drug-like screening compounds for use in drug discovery projects:
- Anti-HIV Focused Library
- Anti-HIV Targeted Library
- Mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue lymphoma translocation protein 1 (MALT1)
- Proto-oncogene tyrosine-protein kinase Src (SRC)
- HIV-1 Protease
- HIV-1 Reverse Transcriptase
- Antiviral Screening Compound Libraries
- Protease Screening Libraries
