Today is World Alzheimer’s Day, established to promote Alzheimer-related dementia awareness and the struggle against the connected stigma. The Alzheimer’s disease incidence keeps growing fast, and it becomes one of the most serious health and social crises worldwide. Currently, there is no cure for dementia, as current treatments mostly offer low symptomatic effects against this neurodegenerative disease.
